It's official, Diablo III

Tyrael and his tendrils

And the Heavens shall tremble.

Yes, i'm not bluffing, the much-anticipated, much-hyped about, Diablo 3 is FINALLY HERE. Well, not really, it was more of an announcement made. Declared in development on 28th June, 2008, at the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational in Paris, France.

A fresh Prime-Evil perhaps? Maybe Diablo's lao beh(dad)

I can't tell you how much i've been waiting for this game. It's predecessors, Diablo 2: LoD, and even Diablo 1, were a major hit. Action-packed hack'n slash genre with RPG elements, including an online multiplayer system that scores high on the replayability chart. It's one of my FAVOURITE games. Thank the High Heavens!

Before i go on, if you're not a Diablo fan or you don't like RPG games, or you'd rather blow someone apart with a shotgun John Woo-style, please stop reading. This entire post will be about Diablo 3, so yeah, i'm warning you. On the other hand, welcome, my fellow Diablo fans, and to those who are eager, but have not yet, discovered the Diablo Universe.

First, we shall start with where the story left off in D2: LoD. Baal gets killed on Mount Arreat, suffering the same fate as his brothers Diablo and Mephisto. Tyrael the Archangel (below, picture), hurls his enchanted runeblade AzureWrath into the Worldstone to destroy it, preventing the Burning Hells from corrupting it any further.

Tyrael, throwing AzureWrath

That was after the heroes(us, back then), in Diablo 2, destroyed Diablo and his brothers, one-by-one.

Two decades have passed since then.

"....When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram's Cathedral seeking clues to new stirrings of evil, a comet from the heavens strikes the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. The comet carries a dark omen in its fiery being and it calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself. " - an extract from the game's official site

It's up to the new generation of heroes(us), to defend Sanctuary itself. Deckard Cain, our old friend, returns as well. There's good ol' Tristram to visit too.

Along with the new enhanced graphics and audio, comes the all-new physics engine, which adds a plus in the game's realism factor. Stone blocks crumble when they are accidentally caught within range of an AoE(area of effect) spell, environments are destructible, interactive. Rag-doll physics are pretty enjoyable too. Here's an example.

The Barbarian unleashing one of his skills at a wall

The Barbarian knocks down a nearby wall to crush the zombies. Before(above), after(below).

Poor things

All-too familiar Warcry

There are a whole lot of new weapons and equipment as well. Weapons get their respective socket auras(frost, fire, lightning, etc.), which look dead cool. I hope the armor follows suit. Skills, new and old, are rendered better than ever.

Tasmanian Devil - The Whirlwind(it's back!)

The bosses in the new game are awfully violent. Huge, as well. Lovely. Here are some below.

Cultists summoning -Before

Poof! Out comes a fatshit - After

I love the increased blood and gore in the game. Hours of terrific fun by slashing zombies shall ensue, i'm sure. But the physics engine still rocks more than anything. Bodies get flung around, environments can be used to our advantage, debris react realistically. Thank you Havok Physics!

Look at the scale of heroes to boss

Another joy factor is that any class in the game can be MALE or FEMALE. So, girls, come join in the action (:

So far there's only the Barbarian and the Witch Doctor revealed. You can read more about them at the site. More classes, soon!

Take note, the game's only been ANNOUNCED. Not RELEASED. Judging from Blizzard's progress on Starcraft II, it's already been more than a year since they made it known to the world, but still no release. Be patient, paladins and barbarians. Your time will come.

That's Diablo III for you! Great game, incredible gameplay. Be sure to catch it.

Liberation

Hello i'm back.
Just as soon as they came, they were over. The JCTs are over! I am(we all are) free at last. For the moment, that is. But, some freedom is better than none, so i'll take it.

This is going to be a relatively long post, so bear with me. I'll be splitting this post into the past 3 days.

Starting with,
Thursday

Finished physics paper at 4pm, the last of them. The hall broke into a buzz of joy and relief, after all, they were finally over. CGs started on their plans for celebration, all heading out of school for movies, dinners, etc.

My CG went for dinner at Carl's Junior, Suntec. Huge burgers, along with the self-mixed ice tea, but we managed to finish. Engaged in "Talking Cock", been a while since we've done that. Walked over to the sky garden afterwards and spent some time there. We took silly pictures and all, great time.

Not the whole class, but yeah, still a relatively large group

I was under restraint, really.

I got settled down quick as soon as i reached home. Felt like diving straight into games with my class guys or Vishnu, but i had to clean up my hard disk. It's going crazy with the ever-fluctuating free space.

Meet the Skele-Family

Had a not-so-typical game of dota at around 1 am. King Leoric, four of him. Which means, 4 stuns and 4 reincarnations. Good fun, except for the centaur in the opposing team which had like 3k hp at lvl 10. Insane tank.

That about sums up Thursday. I went to sleep soon after.

Friday

Met ted and weizhou at Mac's around 10.30am in the morning for breakfast. I hit my toe(all-too familiar) against a rock pillar at the bus-stop on the way back with them to my place. Bloody mess.

It isn't the first time

Yujun, chenghau, and tujin arrived soon enough and they all had a swim(no video this time, sigh). A rather short swim, too.

Rushed for a bus down to Ehub Downtown East. Met ryan and angus there and we bought tickets for "You Don't Mess With The Zohan".

Caught in the act

There was some time before the movie came on, so we crashed the arcade. We shot hoops at the err... Shooting Hoops Machine? Apparently the machine was quite mini-scaled, so we could reach the hoops using our hands, with ease.

There were 2 machines. The first one had problems with starting even after tapping the card 4 times, which meant 4 dollars spent. The techinician switched machines for us, and we played. With 2 credits left, the machine failed on us, again. So, the technician switched AGAIN, and gave us 5 credits. 3 credits free of charge. Nice, unknowingly or not. We got scolded for transferring balls to either machine(look above).

Yujun looking, angus and ryan shooting

The movie was entertaining, albeit with tons of sexual innuendos. Serious. Go catch it if you wish. I shan't be a spoiler by descriptions of the film here. The starting was hilarious, but the humour kinda died down midway. Not entirely mindless though.

"Angus, thongs, and full-frontal snogging"

Had subway with them after the show. I can't believe i blurted " 6 foot! " when the guy taking my order asked me whether i wanted a foot-long or a 6-inch sandwich. Funny how the mind works. 6 foot(or feet in this case) is longer than my body, by the way.

The day didn't end yet. I met altron, yinwei, kcc, and kun for some lan at KRTC( if you know what that means ). We played Battlefield 2 from 9 to 11.45pm, and won all the rounds. Incredible, rewarding fun. (Go USMC!)

Saturday

Happy Birthday Lek Ping!

Today's her birthday so we planned to meet at 2.28pm. We had Swensens!

Yujun and i ordered our selected sets of baked rice and CLAM CHOWDER soup. The soup was unique, it came in a breadbowl. We had so much fun digging out the insides of the bread, until we made a hole through the entire thing. Couldn't finish it though, much too filling after the main course.

A ring and a half

After which, everybody separated and i hopped on the bus home with yujun. Took 15 from parkway and changed to 21. Now here i am.

JCTs are over, yes. But, the dread from getting our results, ISN'T. We've this weekend to play the hell out of ourselves, or die trying. After next week, there won't be a chance. It'll be back to the notes. So, people, enjoy while you still can!

My dinner's waiting for me, 30 cm away. I shall be nice and not let it wait any longer. Goodbye!

Le Finale

Wow, it's the last day of the June Holidays. How quick. How horribly swift.

It's approximately 12.5 hours to school. And, the JCTs. Not exactly the best moment. Friday come quick!

4 days to survive through. Push on, guys and gals! Good Luck and all the best to everyone who sees this =) Lets give those papers one hell of a pounding!

Until Friday, sleep well and study hard, it's going to be Man vs. Papers. Goodbye!

(I've a hell lot of stuff to blog about when i'm back.)

The Last Saturday

I've had diarrhoea 2 times today. Hopefully the toll wouldn't reach three. My arse is sore enough.

Woke up at 12.30pm today, its my last chance to adjust my body clock. Or, end up oversleeping for the tests. I'm drained of my motivational juice, someone please share yours with me? Everytime i pick up the book i amazingly can't concentrate, and everytime i stand up i feel like having diarrhoea.

Went through vectors today, still in the middle of it. I just woke up from one of those wonderful, haven't-had-in-a-while, afternoon naps.

Oh shit, i've got to rush to the toilet. Number Three!

Check this space later for updates. Bye for the moment!

Slack

I'm still bloody sick. Yes, bloody seems like the correct word. It was used to describe the piece of tissue that i stuck in my nose this morning.

I knew something was wrong when i woke up sniffing blood this morning. Long time since i've caught the scent of blood, so it was sort of refreshing(sounds vampirish). I must have nosebled through the night, unknowingly. Wonder why i didn't suffocate in my own blood whilst asleep.

Anyway, yeah i woke up at 12.30pm today. Had lunch soon after, and was in no mood to hit the notes so i just rested(almost the whole afternoon away) on my parents' bed.

SexyBack

Ted, chenghau, weizhou and angus came over around 5 to swim. I would have gladly joined them, if weren't for the fact that i was sick. Shit.

They had a hilarious relay competition among themselves. Anyone who wants the video, ask! I won't upload it (:

From left: Angus, Ted, Wz, Ych

After the swim we headed to Century Square to have dinner. 4 sets of Baked Rice, plus bubble tea. Ted left first while the rest of us crossed over to Tampines Mall. I had to get my H2 math volume 1 guidebook so we hit Popular first. Angus and Weizhou had a look around the ongoing Puma sale downstairs and we left shortly after.

As i'm typing this, Clan Vishnu's having their daily dose of fun on Bnet. I'm off to bathe, and then join the dudes online.

3 more daylights before the dreaded CTs. But, 7 more to its end! Think postive, thats the way (:

Goodbye.

Fever, fever go away

I've got to get rid of The Fever. Its been bothering me for the past few days. And, it makes me all sluggish and lethargic at home, which, leads to low studying productivity. With 4 more daylights to go until the fearful CTs, this isn't really helping.

Just had porridge for lunch, healthy stuff. Actually planned to go out with chenghau and weizhou to study today, but The Fever gave me second thoughts. In the end, here i am.

Today is Econs Day! More stuff later.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Studied unemployment and i'm halfway through market failure. Gee came over for a little study session, after which we caught some hilarious vids on Youtube(Gmod ^^). Couldn't fight the urge to blog.

Came over something at Cowboy Caleb's. Some girl went overseas with a man, and got molested by him, after sharing the same bed. Apparently it has blown into a case involving some 48,000 SGD. "avalanche of SHIT" is right(quoted JayWalk). It's in The New Paper.

If you haven't heard, it's not too late. The original blog post by the victim, here. The New Paper scoop, by courtesy of JayWalk, here. And, finally, some fictitious hokkien spin-off(reminds me of Rockson?) of the story, here.

My views? I've no comments. Read what they say.

Currently, there's only one word that manages to stay in my head - STRESS.

The Definition of Stress

Enough typing and back to more reading. Goodbye!

Healing potions, stat.

I've got only 5 mins to churn something out before i go out to get my hair cut.

I'm running a fever, damn it, and this has to happen right before the CTs. Downed some Paracetamol tablets so hopefully it subsides for the time being.

Mr Brown plays Team Fortress 2! I can't believe it. More about it tonight.

Oh, sky's turning dark, i better rush. See you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Firefox 3 is slated for release today!
New interface, and some fresh features too. It's been my favourite browser since don't know when.
Check out its features here.

As i was saying, Mr Brown plays TF2! I watched the personalized trailers of the game characters on his blog. The ones of the Engineer and Sniper were the best. Here they are, below. To load them quick, view the Standard Definition versions ( SD ).

Meet the Sniper

Meet the Engineer

There are other characters too. If you have time, check them out here.

Aunties Galore

After the hair cut, there were Puma sales at TM so we went to have a look. Aunties were everywhere. Scary stuff. Puma had their bags with up to 80 percent discount, and they're nice-looking too.

Baby vs. The Fist

There was this particular baby who gave Valerian a tap on his shoulder. Not once, but twice. Maybe he likes Val (hehe). The child looked kinda cute, and he kept his eyes fixed on us the entire time. That's Val's fist by the way(glad his mum didn't notice).

I wasn't feeling too well today. The fever has gone down(and hopefully, stays down), but i've a bloated stomach. It sort of killed my appetite at dinner. Please, bloated stomach, go away. Reached home at around 615pm and had a long rest on the couch.

Shall go dive into those notes lying on my desk. Then, more TANKMEN!

Goodbye.

Geeetah Heeeroh

Itchy fingers and a straying mind are what led me here.

Today's Tuesday. Means there's the weekly Digital Life! It's almost becoming a habit, i've been reading almost every issue.

There's an interview on the creators of Guitar Hero. They're brothers! Surprising. My first encounter was with its third sequel, GH3 Legends of Rock. Played at Parkway whilst on an outing with og8 several months ago. Immediately hooked. I was having so much fun i didn't want to go back to dinner. Sadly, i had to part with the wireless guitar after 15 mins.

It's 3pm. I just watched a couple of episodes of Salad Fingers. Queer cartoon. Moving on, Nuclear Physics!

More on GH and other stuff, later.

Siao liao.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Had dota with SPC to kill the evening boredom. He left his friends to play with me, i felt so guilty. Very much appreciated bro! Thanks man (:

Game was fine till our teammates left. We lost eventually. But, fun.

Off to dinner.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just closed the last page on Normal Distribution. I guess thats about it for the night, for i'm having one hell of a nasty headache. I'm blogging as i wait for my dad to get out of the bathroom so i can bathe and join Vishnu on Bnet.

Shockingly, ryan just told me that bloody Nuclear Physics isn't tested! I spent a load of my afternoon time on it. Just my luck.

GH on Digital Life

Zeus was a Guitar Legend?

Okay, back to Guitar Hero. Its easily one of my favourite games, because there's GOOD music, and you'll just feel like a rockstar. Yeah, the boss battles include Slash, and, there's DragonForce songs too. Nice. Gamespot rates it 8.0/10 for the Xbox360(lower for the PS2 though).

I've been wanting the game real bad, but the PC version of it is resource-heavy. Shan't try. But, i've got alternatives! Tried other freeware clones(there are MANY out there) of the game, and surprisingly they aren't bad. I recommend Frets on Fire! The only problem is that the user-made song charts aren't up to standard as the GH ones, so you'll have to bear with the low-res sounds sometimes. Do give it a try though.

Newgrounds cartoons are good. I've been watching them for leisure these days. Some of them are funny and some are, well bizarre. Catching Salad Fingers again later(hehe). Powerful stuff.

Oh my dad's out. Just in time, too. Bathe and then, Bnet!(hopefully it cures the nails in my head)

Goodbye.

Six days, to the impending Doom

A week isn't much time, considering the speed at which the last three went by. If only i could warp space-time. Ah, that would bring many, many possibilities to mind (: But, if.

Tay Yek Keak gives the best movie reviews. Scanned through Life! this morning and came across another of his humorous, yet apt descriptions of films. I like the guy. This time it's The Incredible Hulk and The Happening. Turns out the Hulk proved better than a supposedly lacklustre production by M. Night Shyamalan. The Happening was said to be, well, un-Happening. Go read it, he's fun.

Hulk Smash! ( Or gets smashed )

Struck by another bout of flu, or runny nose. It always happens when i hit the books. Especially today, when i sat down to study through the whole afternoon. Thats as exciting as it gets, drowning in notes the entire day.

Some kid got stuck between the metal bars of the pool playground. I noticed the commotion when i went over for dinner. Poor child, hope he or she's alright. The manager and guards were trying their best to help, along with the child's parents.

Poolside

Pretty much mundane stuff at night. Managed to survive through Quantum Physics :)

Family's asleep. Sigh, air of silence. I want to sleep early but i can't. Insomnia's a real killer. I'll have to adjust my body clock in time for the CTs, otherwise i'll be half-dead when i take the papers.

But, there's still time :) Now, hopefully something's good on HBO and off i go to make my cheese sandwich.

Until next time, goodbye!

Breek-ish Birthday Lunch

Happy Birthday Shaoyun!

She turns 17 today. Celebration! We had group lunch at Breeks, T2 Changi Airport. 13 people turned up. Long time since we had such a gathering, certainly well missed.

Prior to the lunch, met up with yujun, valerian and peejay at tanah merah, along with the cake. Ryan was supposed to come but amazingly he managed to wake up 15 mins before the arranged meeting time. So on we went to the airport first, and we explored the walkways of Terminal 3. And, the freshly built toilets.

Fly Marks the Spot

The urinals were something new, they each had a picture of a squashed fly in the centre(look above, yes its the black dot). Yujun and i mistook them for REAL flies at first. I guess thats the optimal point they want us to aim at, while we err, pee. Makes the cleaners happy too. Or probably it could be a creative way to keep men occupied while they take a leak( accuracy competition ). Either way, it's good. So, why not?

After our toilet venture, we headed to Candy Empire to shop. Got 2 LOVE-ly lollipops (hehe). Val got his nougats too. Ryan reached soon enough and we finally headed to Breeks. Turns out the student meal offer's non-existent, so we spent around 15 on average. But, great food.

The staff were a good sport, they carried out everything as planned and even sang the birthday song with us. Keep it up, Breeks! Cake was chocolate, and tasty. Nice. We managed to hand the present over too, but without Kenny's face on it. Sigh :( Thanks to my printer's low toner.

The Intended

The above was the intended present, but kudos to my printer for making his face blue. In the end we handed it over without the face. Sad.

Yujun at his best, eating.

The group separated after lunch. The J1s and peejay left early. The hockey guys(except Kenny), went to Tampines to play basketball. I felt exhausted so i just walked them to the court and caught the next bus home.

I made sure i posted this to coincide with Shaoyun's birthday. Presenting, Kenny Low (:

Kenny, on his daily routine to score more goals

Kenny: Possesses huge, inhuman pectorals(go wiki Pectoralis major). Those monsters are able to crush and atomize metal cans without sweat. Beware, Coca-cola. His jokes have the ability to bring down the surrounding ambient temperature, sometimes to subzero, even. Best used on a hot, sunny day in Singapore. The deadliest striker on this planet, in field hockey. Currently holds the honorable position of top goal scorer in TJC. His socks and shin guards produce unearthly smells. Rumoured to be able to wake the dead, and yes, kill the living. Commonly linked to his ability to put balls in the back of the net effortlessly. His hockey stick produces rattlesnake-like sounds, a feature used to frighten away unworthy players on the pitch. Defenders, be very afraid.

Text-based browser games have been getting my attention of late. No sounds, no animations. Just text. And it's addictive! Surprisingly.

Dinner soon. Meanwhile, off to more adventuring!

See you.

Fawteenth orf Joone

TGIF

The above was produced during another one of my doodling sessions. Boredom, while doing stats for math. Anyway, meant for yesterday.

I'm back. Reached a decision eventually, earlier today. I went to join the dudes at the Leisure Park at kallang, for a movie. After which, i rushed down to Eastwood to celebrate Father's Day. This way, i would be able to spend time with my friends, and my family. My dad deserves the dinner treat (:

Kallang Leisure Park

New place, and quite a revamp too, i must say. I've been there before, the last time was during sec 2 i think. Long, long time.

We caught Prince Caspian, the 4pm slot. I got kind of lost 5 mins into the show(never saw part one), but eventually settled into the plot. Its your typical fairytale, hero-saves-the-day movie, but with the inclusion of certain mythical creatures, or Narnians, they call them. The appearances of minotaurs, centaurs and dwarves were fresh. The White Bitch(Witch, i know, but go watch Epic Movie) appeared for about 2 mins in the entire film. Funny moment.

The show was so exciting that somebody let out a fart behind me and chenghau. Talking about farts, there was one, long and solid expulsion of gas in the male toilet. 2 of us tried to stomach our laughter. Good fun (:

Key pictures for today

Tedrid and The Sleeping Man

Taken outside the new mall, The Sleeping Man was found, asleep, in a particular restaurant. He probably couldn't resist the tempting seats.

Entrance to the National Stadium (of Repeated Closures)

The dudes came here after the movie. I left for my family dinner shortly.

I took a cab from kallang. The taxi driver was friendly, he struck up a conversation as soon as i hopped in. We talked about education, working life. Proved to be quite beneficial. It kinda widened my perspective of things, and some stuff seemed clearer. Glad to have talked. What's more, he cut into lanes, somewhat haphazardly, just to make my journey swift. Yes, we got honked, numerously, but nonetheless, insightful conversation with a nice man.

That about sums up my day out. Now, to find out the results of the qualifier. And, Vishnu!

Goodbye.
Read the news, surfed the net, mundane.

Half adventuring through the Lands of Loathing, half pondering whether to meet up with the sec 4 dudes at kallang. And, well rush things abit.

Father's Day dinner's tonight. Shall i attend? Then, miss the qualifier. What if Singapore wins? I'll miss the one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-moment, atmosphere. And, spirit.

But then again, father's day. Once-a-year. Guilty, no doubt. Choice?

Less than 2 hours to make up my fickle mind. Decisions, decisions.

Meanwhile, here i come, rats of the Typical Tavern!

More, later.

Pianissimo.

Hello, well how should i start.
Here goes.

I've been studying at home(alone) for these few days. With the exception of yesterday of course, a day spent out shopping with the hockey guys, but the details, another time. All's quiet at home with nobody around, but nonetheless, productivity's rather low. There have been distractions. Don't get me wrong, i don't mean the computer, the television, etc. It's my own mind.

Periods of long hours spent cooped up at home have been thought-provoking. My mind tends to wander off as i stare and try to absorb the stuff on my notes. And i continue to digress in my own world of thoughts until i catch sight of my notes and remember what i was doing. The most subtle, yet time-consuming act, daydreaming.

But, dreams aren't exactly what i think of. I haven't been in the best of moods lately, and yes, i feel sort of emotional, for a first. I prefer not to use word 'emo'. It's gradually becoming enormously overused for all the wrong situations, and a common alternative to the word 'sad'.

I can't remember the last time when i was truly, genuinely, happy. It's been a long time.

I've always wanted someone to talk to, someone you can bare everything to, especially in times like these. But i've realised, i'm not that kind of person. For me, baring heart and soul to another is no mean feat. I keep telling others to let out their problems, their frustrations, their struggles, to feel better. I, however, am unable to. Sometimes, i prefer certain thoughts to be left as they are, unsaid.

Whatever's left bothering me, i express in a different way - music, my piano. It might seem weird for a guy to have an inanimate string instrument as a soulmate. But my piano's been great. I let everything out on those black and white keys. When i'm sad, depressed, i play softly and gently. When i'm angry i'll play my pieces with force, sometimes waking my parents in the process. Sure, it isn't some piano from Steinway & Sons, but i like my piano. I'm used to the muffled tunes, along with the unusually hard keys. But after i play, i feel much better.

8 years. That's how long i've been playing the piano. There have been ups and downs, even an occasion where i almost stopped learning piano altogether. But i didn't regret it one bit. Recently, it has helped me, alot.

Hopefully, my thoughts won't continue to stray as much. 10 days left to the CTs. I must make every day worth it. Alright, back to my notes. Goodbye.

Grandpa's Birthday

The Birthday Bo-...oops i mean the Birthday Man himself

First of all, i'd like to wish my grandpa a Happy Birthday! It was last Sunday, so we headed on down to the Imperial Herbal Restaurant at Vivocity to celebrate. My aunt and her family came too, totaling 12 people.

But, before i elaborate on the details, i'd like to wish PEIJUN aka PEEJAY too! Happy 18th Birthday!

Okay, so we went to the restaurant on the highest level. Its located beside Daiso, a Japanese $2-for-everything shop, so typically, the mums and dads went inside to explore. I couldn't stand around waiting and wandering aimlessly, so i ran down to Challenger. With only the intention to look around, i saw 3 Xbox360 consoles, UNTOUCHED. Swee la! It was surprising despite the crowd in the store. I went to the nearest one and spent the next 1 hour playing Devil May Cry 4. Good ol' hack-and-slash fun.

'
Mashed Egg-white with Some Crunchy Thing

Chicken Wishbone

Dinner was great, except for the individual soup course which i couldn't stomach very well. Everyone had their own choice of soup, and everything was herbal. I chose the American Ginseng Fish soup because i thought fish soups wouldn't taste so bad. But it arrived smelling strongly of ginseng, and the soup had a bitter aftertaste to it. My sister got lucky with her choice of good-tasting Beef Shank soup.

Oh, and i found a wishbone whilst chomping on chicken. It kinda stuck out due to its unique shape so i fished it out. They say that breaking a wishbone grants your wish, but this particular bone proved unbreakable, literally. It simply tore off. I guess it was too soft after being cooked with the chicken. One other thing that i liked was the Egg-mash(above), a never-seen-before dish, but, what mattered was the incredible taste.

Kristy

Thats my 8-year old niece, Kristy :) Taken while we walked around Vivocity after dinner. The kids bought Ben and Jerry's along the way. That more or less concludes our Sunday dinner outing. Father's Day is up and coming, so i've got to get something for my dad asap!

Now for your post, YCH :)

(The Guy in Blue)Secretly discussing plans of World Domination with his 2nd-in-command, Tan Tu Jin(Red), while buying drinks

Yeo Cheng Hau: Is actually the real King of the World, with his identity and status protected so well, you don't even know. Has an estimated 854 houses around the globe, but the 84th one located in Changi Court, Singapore, seems to be his current abode. Claims to have an all-purpose, unlimited-usage, diamond-studded platinum World King Card. Once flashed, it can purchase anything and grant you permission to anyplace on this Earth. It symbolises the presence of YCH himself. However, to date, he still has not flashed it. Has eager plans for repeated World Domination, although he already controls the world. Is usually seen discussing the plans with his right-hand man, Tan Tu Jin. Student by day, Politician by night. Claims to travel in the night to attend tea-sessions with World Leaders. Has an unsurpassed ability to Talk Cock.

Next post : its you, Kenny Low (:

I need a haircut, my hair's getting real thick and uncomfortable. I just realised i have these $50 Skateline Vouchers lying around so i've decided to get a brand-new pair of skates sometime soon( anyone wants to come along? ). Then, i'll be able to skate around my neighbourhood, to Tampines Mall, etc. Nice.

Now its time for breakfast! Goodbye!

File-tastic Day

Paper-ific

The pain came back, momentarily. I remembered that night when i really couldn't take it, and just broke down. First time in my life such a thing happened. What a sad day. Time whizzed past, and coming to think of it, that night's long gone. I'll never forget though. But one's got to keep looking ahead, and that's what i'm doing. What's more, i'm almost back to my old, usual self again. Almost.

On a lighter note, today finally came, my day of reckoning. I had to face those damn stacks of paper i've been leaving around my room, being too lazy to clear them in the past. I hate it when i finally have to. Stack after stack i sorted, it was a bloody chore. Attack of the Papers was more like it(see for yourself, above). I started optimistically at 2.30pm and finished half-dead at 6.00pm. But i'm glad its over. Now i can finally get organised :)

Okay, last night was fun. Met weizhou, ted, chenghau, yujun and ryan on Bnet again to destress. Played many games. First one up, Run Kitty Run ( Numb Final ).

Run Kitties, Run!

Coupled with the amazing high pitched, chipmunks-like soundtrack playing in the background( Numb-Linkin Park ), it was great fun. The aim was to get past those dogs, which we did, thanks to everyone's teamwork. Revive, Die, Revive, Die, and we made it to Round 2 where we eventually lost haha. But nvm, up next's MooMoo Farm!

Protecting the Wise Old MooMoo(Centre)

Yes, the big old creature in the centre is called MooMoo. It's stupid as hell and won't budge or fight or whatever, so yeah, our objective was to protect it from waves and waves of enemy creatures. Lasted quite long, and it was DIFFICULT. I lost count of how many times i respawned. But still, good, clean fun. Now for the final game of the night(it was already past midnight if i'm not wrong), Dota -ARDMWTF with pubbies ^^.

My Infernal Babies

It was too bad that yujun and ryan got disconnected during the game, otherwise they could have joined in the fun. Ted, weizhou and i were left fighting against 5 other players. Nevertheless, we always manage to perform certain crazy antics.

Weizhou and his Whoop-Ass Chaos Meteor(s) at Roshan

That match was the last game of the night. I turned in at around 3am and set the alarm to 9.30am, lest i sleep too much. Surprisingly, i woke up at 9.29am, and 10 secs later the alarm rang! It wasn't the first time so i was thinking maybe body-clock? Or pure coincidence? I guess the body works in grand, mysterious ways.

Anyway, as promised, Yujun's post :)

Mr Sunshine himself, Tham Yu Jun

Yujun: Deemed "The Sexiest Man Alive" by many of his friends. Has a characteristic Sunshine smile thats guaranteed to melt anybody's heart, and make you wear sunglasses. A solid, trusty rightback defender in field hockey, so attackers, think twice before you face him. Has a boundless sense of humour, so incredible that even I have been subdued by it. Likes to eat alot(see for yourself, above).

Now next is you, YCH (:

Okay i guess thats about it for now. I'm really exhausted by the filing i did today, need lots of rest. Hoping for another destress session later on haha. Parents are out for dinner, that leaves me and sis at home. Alright i've got to go for dinner, goodbye! Tag tag tag!
